Tore off the wood paneling (which is leaning against the wall to the right). Still one piece of wood paneling on the far left to be removed.











Is there any problem that cannot be solved with a crowbar?











Most of the wood that was holding the paneling removed, and the sides of the stone fireplace basically crumble apart.











and reveal the wood floor and smooth terracotta hearth below...stay tuned for more folks. We'll be saving the stone and do something with it in the backyard in the spring.
