Mounted Wood Elf Lord

Started work on the Mounted Wood Elf Lord model. This is actually a pretty good looking fig. I'm gonna try to work in some other colours besides browns and greens to see what I can come up with.















The horse body has been repositioned so that it is just starting to rear up. One cannot make the steed rear to strongly because the lord figure is not positioned as leaning into a rear and that would go beyond my modeling skills! I've added a piece of bretonnian temple (a window casement) to the base as well as a piece of tile to tie it together with the rest of the army.















I hope to get a good start on this guy as well as the second unit of wild riders over the weekend. The steeds will be first.
